Sue Jean Hong
With a diverse and extensive background in education, Dr. Sue Jean Hong is a seasoned educational leader who possesses a profound understanding of the intricacies of educational leadership, curriculum development, professional development, and excellent talent systems. She brings over two decades of service in K-12 education, complemented by her role as an adjunct professor for Pepperdine University, to offer valuable insights and solutions to educational institutions seeking to enhance their school’s outcomes through equitable talent practices.
Sue Jean holds a B.A. in History from the University of California, Irvine, an M.S.Ed. in Reading and Writing and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California.
Sue Jean lives in Long Beach, CA. When she is not nerding out on all things people development and talent, she is being actively developed as a daughter by her Korean Immigrant parents Young and Ginger, as a sister by her brother Steven, as an aunt by her twin nephews Connor and Logan, as a mom by her son Asher, and as a partner by her husband Ryan. All of which are her most cherished identities.
