NorthStar Education Partners collaborated with Mohammed Schools of Atlanta (MSOA) to develop a strategic plan aimed at amplifying the school’s strengths, modernizing approaches to student learning, and inspiring increased enrollment and investment from the community. This partnership focused on creating a comprehensive vision and strategy that honors the deeply held beliefs of the MSOA community.
Objectives
Mohammed Schools of Atlanta partnered with NorthStar to:
- Vision Refresh: Develop a refreshed vision for MSOA that reflects the beliefs and values of the MSOA community.
- Graduate Profile: Create a profile of an MSOA graduate outlining key academic and character dispositions, serving as a “north star” for the strategic planning process.
- Updated School Design: Define key academic and cultural elements of the school for Elementary, Middle, and High School, including student experiences, curriculum, instructional methods, signature learning experiences, extracurriculars, and enrichments.
- Talent Management Plan: Identify key shifts required in MSOA’s staffing model and staff recruitment, development, and retention strategies.
- Implementation Plan: Develop a phased implementation plan to execute the school design over five years, including the financial commitments required for each phase.
