Shaquinah Taylor Wright

Shaquinah Taylor Wright is an education strategist and evaluator focused on expanding equitable pathways to college and career. She partners with school districts, colleges, nonprofits, and cross-sector initiatives to design strategies, evaluate programs, and strengthen the systems that support student success. Her work focuses on improving postsecondary access and completion, supporting adult learners, and helping schools and community organizations work together to better serve students. Shaquinah brings experience in strategic planning, program design, and program evaluation. She has led and supported evaluations of large-scale education initiatives, most recently working with New York City Public Schools on an evaluation of their early college strategy. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Shaquinah served as Managing Director of Program at iMentor, where she led efforts to strengthen postsecondary advising strategies and systems. She is an alumna of the Education Pioneers Fellowship and a National College Attainment Network (NCAN) Leading for Equity Fellow. She holds a Master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where she studied Sociology and Inequality Studies. A New York native, she currently lives in Philadelphia with her family.
